<p>Water fluoridation may may one of the most serious health crimes ever committed against those whose water contains it.</p>

<p>Before the 1950&#8217;s fluoride was used primarily as a rat and insect poison. Hitler used fluoride to dumb-down prisoners and make them submissive to authority. Fluorine was the critical element that made the atomic bomb possible. After the war big industrial plants faced increased lawsuits stemming from death and injuries caused from fluoride contamination of nearby communities. Faced with lawsuits and hefty disposal costs of this environmentally hazardous waste product, a scheme was devised to add fluoride to the water supply, a plan easily sold to an as-usual gullible American public by spin doctors like Edward Bernays.</p>
<p>The facts against fluoride are overwhelming which is why you will not find one government proponent willing to debate the issue publicly.</p>
<p>Injecting fluoride into the water supply is mass medication of the population and this reason alone makes it unlawful and immoral.</p>

<p>There are so many adverse health effects caused by ingesting fluoride it is mind boggling. What&#8217;s worse is that public health officials support this poisoning of the water supply which is just one more reason you cannot rely on the government  to look after your health.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a small list of fluoride issues taken from Paul Bragg&#8217;s Water! The Shocking Truth!</p>

<li>Tooth decay has declined worldwide, with no difference between countries with or without water fluoridation. – Health Action Network</li>

<li>In a five year study conducted to test fluoride as a treatment for osteoporosis, bone density was actually decreased 45%, therefore causing osteoporosis, rather than preventing it! The doses used were very close to the amount Americans take in over a fifty year span. – Bone, Vol. 15, 1994</li>

<li>One study concluded that males under the age of 20 who live in areas with fluoridated water were six times more likely to suffer from bone cancer than males who don’t. – New Jersey Department of Health</li>

<li>When a claimed 20% decrease in tooth decay is compared to a 600% increase in bone cancer or a 41% increase in hip fractures, when the cost of a tooth filling is compared to the cost of a hip fracture or cancer treatment, it is obvious that the human and economic costs of fluoridation are staggering. – Health Action Network – www.hans.org</li>

<p>If you are an athlete consuming large amounts of fluoridated water, and filtering does not remove fluoride, it is potentially gradually making you stupid and sick in a variety of sinister ways.</p>
<p>I know this sounds harsh but the history of how fluoride got into the water supply is more shocking than any movie Hollywood could produce and it is not fiction.</p>

<p>At this point for any health professional to support the fluoridation of water means they are simply ignorant of the facts, too proud to admit they have been wrong or they are part of the problem.</p>

<p>This article explains why incorporating living foods into your daily life could have a dramatic impact on your overall health, fitness level and appearance.</p>
<p>Growing up in today&#8217;s modern society we tend to believe that eating cooked or processed foods is completely normal and bears no negative consequence to our health and vitality.</p>
<p>Nothing could be further from reality.</p>
<p>I agree people are living longer today but being alive and living are two different things.</p>
<p>More than ever there is an epidemic of fat unhealthy people who only live longer because the very same corporate machine that feeds them unhealthy foods profits again by selling them drugs and medical procedures that would not be needed if more people just realized and ACTED on the information that I&#8217;m sharing with you here.</p>
<p>We are energy.</p>
<p>A little higher up on the matter ladder we are a collection of gazillions of individual life forms known as our cells.</p>
<p>I know this is well known to any six grader but sometimes we have to look at stuff in a simple way for it to make the most impact.</p>
<p>When you look in the mirror what looks back is the result of the hard work of the 100 trillion or so cells that make you, you.</p>
<p>All of your cells come from pre-existing cells, in other words new cells are born out of existing cells.</p>
<p>Your cells ARE the engines of your life.</p>
<p>When we are young, our cells are vigorous and split forming exact replicas of themselves but as we age our cells tire and the new cells are not perfect copies which results in the &#8220;signs of aging.&#8221;</p>
<p>Why do our cells stop working at optimal levels?</p>
<p>One big reason is the foods we eat.</p>
<p>There are a variety of circumstances that cause aging but DIET IS A HUGE FACTOR!</p>
<p>One of many cellular functions is to take in organic matter (food) so mitochondria can convert the energy to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adenosine_triphosphate" target="_blank">ATP</a> through the  <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxidative_phosphorylation" target="_blank">oxidative phosphorylation process</a>.</p>
<p>In other words your cells are the engines of your life and these engines are FUELED by the FOOD YOU EAT.</p>
<p>Like a race car engine, feed your engines top quality fuel and you will get top quality performance. Feed your engines poor quality fuel and you will end up losing the race.</p>
<p>What is the best fuel you can supply your cells with?</p>
<p>Living raw foods.</p>
<p>Today food is more abundant and convenient than ever and people are eating more of it but because our engines cannot use most of this worthless fuel so most of it goes right to the love handles.</p>
<p>People are eating more but starving nutritionally and aging in the process.</p>
<p>Cells thrive on a good balance of healthy fats, quality carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals.</p>
<p>For the purpose of this article we are not going to discuss why cooked and/or processed foods lack one or many of these vital ingredients because there is another component of life junk foods lack that has an even greater effect on your health and wellness.</p>
<p>Enzymes.</p>
<p>Cells are the engines of your life and enzymes are the catalyst of it.</p>
<p>&#8220;Enzymes are the catalysts of every chemical reaction in our bodies. Without them, there can be no cellular division, immune system functioning, energy production nor brain activity. No vitamins or hormones can do their work without enzymes&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8230;More importantly, it has been demonstrated that our bodies produce a finite lifetime supply of enzymes. Every cooked meal we eat causes enzyme production that draws on our finite reserve. A living food meal does not cause this drain.</p>
<p>This can help us understand why an 85 year old has only 1/30 the enzyme activity level of an 18 year old. Aging is really nothing more than running out of enzymes. Cells stop dividing, our immune system fails to handle challenges it managed easily when we were younger.</p>
<p>Our enzyme reserve is depleted over a lifetime of eating cooked food. In 1930, Dr. Paul Kouchakoff found that when we eat cooked food, our bodies attack it with leukocytes, the white blood cells that are the cornerstone of our immune system. These cells bring enzymes to the cooked food in an attempt to break it down and get rid of it.</p>
<p>Our bodies actually treat cooked food as a foreign invader.</p>

<p>Cooking kills the beneficial enzymes in food.</p>

<p>When you eat fresh living foods you fuel your body with living energy.</p>
<p>Eating living foods means having some degree of a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raw_diet" target="_blank">raw food diet.</a></p>
<p>This diet is gaining wide acceptance as more nutritionally educated individuals discover that the  degenerative illnesses associated with prolonged consumption of a cooked, processed, dead food diet can be alleviated by &#8220;going raw.&#8221;</p>
<p>I dance in the camp that believes the raw diet is what humans are still intended to eat however I have not gone raw myself.</p>
<p>I do, however, consume plenty of living foods through the veggie-fruit shakes I blend and drink at least a couple times a day.</p>
<p>I realize it is asking a lot to say you should not eat cooked foods but consider at least to start now&#8230;</p>

<li> Not eating burnt char grilled flesh</li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li> Cutting back on cooked meats as much as possible</li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li> Using a enzyme supplement</li>

<li> Trying to eat organic as much as you can afford it</li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li> Eating a variety of raw foods every day</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: left;">Consider blending a veggie shake like the one I talk about in the video above. Since I&#8217;ve been drinking these shakes I have noticed a big difference in my skin, hair and the amount of energy I have especially right after I drink it.</p>

<p>Add water to allow for desired consistency</p>
<p>You can also add two scoops of the Ultimate Meal but this is optional.</p>
<p>I put in a lot of broccoli and spinach simply because these life giving foods have so many healthful benefits.</p>
<p>I know apples and carrots have a lot of sugar but  the health benefits of both outweigh the fact they have natural sugar (fructose) and they make my shake taste great, no broccoli taste at all!!!</p>
<p>Summary</p>
<p>Living foods have living energy.</p>
<p>As much as possible, cut back on dead cooked and processed foods and attempt to incorporate living foods into your diet.</p>

<p>Originally written in January 2005</p>
<p>As I was sitting on Fort Lauderdale beach thinking about the year that was coming to an end and what I had accomplished during that time, I looked out to the horizon at a freighter that was waiting in line with several other ships for the tug that would eventually escort her into Port Everglades.</p>
<p>I thought about the crew on that ship and how slow TIME must pass for them at sea while I on the other hand I felt like TIME was flying by that day and I wish I had more of it.</p>
<p>What is this crazy thing time and can it really speed up and slow down?</p>
<p>Then I started thinking about this one commodity we are all given an equal amount of each day and while some of us are able to convert this mysterious resource into an amazing life, others continue to be enslaved by it.</p>
<p>What is time?</p>
<p>As our consciousness awakes to pre-existing events spread out over the space-time continuum, we experience what we know as time.</p>
<p>Imagine time as a football field on which every event in the past and every event in the future exists simultaneously.</p>
<p>Now image you are on this field walking from one end to the other experiencing events in successive order as you cross each yard line.</p>
<p>As your consciousness awakes and experiences these events on the field, you experience time. The degree you are &#8220;awake&#8221; to these events dictates your &#8220;experience&#8221; of time and your degree of consciousness.</p>
<p>It is said your &#8220;internal time&#8221; sets the stage for how you see time externally. Your feelings, thoughts and attitudes toward your life and events in it can make time go faster or slower.</p>
<p>I experienced this recently in the reception area of my dentist office as I waited to get my teeth cleaned. Time seemed to drag by.</p>
<p>On the other hand New Years Eve when we where out partying with friends and having fun playing with the the go-go dancers, time flew by for all of us and before we knew it we had journeyed past another point on the field of time and the new year was here.</p>
<p>Out of everything I&#8217;ve learned about time, how to &#8220;manage&#8221; it, set goals or make resolutions to accomplish something within a block of it, the most important thing I&#8217;ve discovered is this&#8230;</p>
<p>The time of NOW is the only time that we are awake to and the only time that we have total control over.</p>
<p>The moment of NOW is all there is and all there ever will be. Ten minutes from now, will be now. Two days, ten years from now will be now.</p>
<p>Now is the most valuable tool we possess but yet if you&#8217;re like me we often spend so much time in the past thinking about things we cannot change or in the future that has not come yet.</p>
<p>It is great to dream about the future but often we spend so much time there we fail to understand that it is the the moment of now and what we do with this time that creates our future.</p>
<p>My only new years resolution is to commit to make each moment of now the best and most productive I can.</p>
<p>The present moment of now is really a present you have sent to yourself created by thoughts, words, actions and beliefs you held in prior moments of now.</p>
<p>The wonderful opportunities that await us in the future are waiting to be discovered in the present, right now.</p>
<p>All we have to do is learn to appreciate the now and see this time for what it is, the key with the potential to unlock everything we&#8217;ve ever desired.</p>
<p>Make a commitment with me to be more awake to the moment of now.</p>
<p>Remember that you are creating the now of tomorrow, today.</p>
<p>May all of your &#8220;nows&#8221; in this new year be filled with joy, peace, good health and prosperity.</p>

<p>Buy yourself a $20 coffee grinder and grind the seeds and then put the powder into your veggie or protein shakes or maybe sprinkle it on your salads. There are countless ways you could incorporate ground flax into your recipes.</p>
<p>Occasionally people will tell me they&#8217;ve seen reports that flax can increase the risk of prostate cancer in men. Nothing can be further from the truth. Those reports are referring to processed destabilized Linolenic Acid found in foods like red meat and bacon, not the LA which is found in flax.</p>
<p>If you know of one single study that suggests flax seed is unhealthy, please forward it to me so I can read it.</p>
<p>Flax is a powerful food and supplies precious plant based omega-3 fatty acids that people eating a western diet usually lack. However, like anything else to much of a good thing can be bad. If you over consume flax it could throw your omega-3 / omega-6 balance off in the other direction.</p>
<p>For more information just do a search for flax and it won&#8217;t be hard to discover that one of the most basic of all foods is also one of the best nutritional bargains going today!</p>

<p>This is pure propaganda propagated by a mostly corrupt medical industry whose policies are heavily influenced by the special interests that help support it.</p>

<p>Getting medical treatment may be the most most dangerous thing you could ever do since the medical industry kills more people every year than any other single cause in this country.</p>

<p>Barely fifty years ago doctors not only condoned smoking they claimed it was good for you!</p>

<p>I&#8217;m not saying all doctors intentionally hand out misinformation, but I do believe that the medical schools and organizations like the AMA physicians are educated by and associate with are more interested in maintaining the status quo than the integrity of health care in this country.</p>
<p>There are many caring compassionate allopathic health professionals in this country who do a lot of good and after all we all defend what we believe.</p>
<p>It is the doctor that looks beyond the medical school indoctrination and furthers their education to include a more holistic, natural approach to their practice instead of merely being a drug dispenser for the pharmaceutical industry that holds the greatest immediate hope for the health of this country.</p>
<p>Unfortunately many graduate from medical school with the arrogant belief that what they have been taught is the final word in human health and all else is quackery.</p>
<p>This is one of the problems with health care today, resistance to change even in the face of undeniable evidence to the contrary.</p>
<h3 align="center">The truth is sunshine is good for you and reacts with your skin to produce the very precious prehormone vitamin D.</h3>
<p>Several recent studies show that vitamin D may be one of <u>the most powerful cancer preventatives</u> there is, not the other way around as the sunscreen and dermatology industries would have you believe.</p>
<p>One study in the American Journal of Epidemiology states&#8230;</p>

<p>Other studies have reached similar conclusions on the benefit of sunlight. <p>One study has found that sunlight actually slows the aging process, you can read one story <font color="#0000ff"><a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml?xml=/earth/2007/11/08/scisun108.xml" target="_blank">HERE.</a></font></p>
<p>Those of us in the natural and holistic health movement have always known sensible sunlight exposure has many healthful benefits for the body, mind and soul.</p>
<p>&#8220;Light is the least dense form of prana in our universe. It carries the full spectrum of rainbow stimulation to our system as it filters through the subtle bodies and is taken in by the nervous system receptors in the eyes and the skin. The nerve receptors in the eye translate this full-spectrum information into optic nerve impulses that conduct it to the various brain centers: Pineal, pituitary, and the rest of the endocrine system. This is due to the consumption of the nutrient-depleted standard American diet (SAD).</p>
<p>The caveat with this whole thing is making sure you get healthy sensible sun exposure and not the kind of irresponsible exposure that results in a sun burn.</p>
<p>The key is to load your skin up with anti-oxidants by eating a diet of fruits and veggies and then practice sensible gradual sun exposure preferably in the morning and late afternoon.</p>
<p>If you work indoors and have pale, pasty skin from lack of sunlight exposure, consider finding a small amount of time each day to soak up some rays, you might be amazed at how much better you&#8217;ll feel.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re pale-skinned absorb 10-15 minutes of rays either before 10AM or after 3PM and work your way up to about 30 minutes over time. The sun rays of mid day are too harsh so avoid this time.</p>
<p>Darker skinned people will need a little longer.</p>
<p>If you plan to stay in the sun for longer periods of time cover your body with clothing and your head with a hat.</p>
<p>If you decide to use sunscreen remember that most of the products on the supermarket shelves are not only ineffective <a href="http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/special/sunscreens/summary.php" target="_blank">but  they can also make you sick.</a></p>

<p>I&#8217;ll never forget the day me and a friend where walking down the street when he glanced over and noticed me fidgeting with my hair and said&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8220;If you comb your hair to the side, it will make it look fuller.&#8221;</p>
<p>That little remark thrust a sword right through my already weakened hair ego and being just twenty-two, I had enough issues to deal with already without having to worry about going bald.</p>
<p>I mean bald is beautiful on many guys but if I want to be bald I want the choice whether to shave my head or not.</p>
<p>I researched as much as I could find online about hair loss and by using a certain type of shampoo I discovered of which I reveal below, I stopped my hair loss and now have a thick, full head of hair I occasionally let grow down to my shoulders.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m confident the Michael&#8217;s  Commandments for Hair Growth will work for you but here are some things to consider&#8230;</p>
<p>1)  Your hair did not start falling out overnight and it is going to take some time to reverse this condition, be prepared to give the program six months to see results.</p>
<p>2) This program is for guys with thinning hair not for bald guys or guys with bald spots.</p>
<p>Do not put off taking action to prevent your hair loss. The longer you wait the harder it will be to reverse the thinning process.</p>
<p>While some cases of hair loss can be attributed to more serious health conditions which are touched on at the end of this article, most otherwise healthy people should be able to see positive results if they faithfully adhere to the guidelines set forth below.</p>
<p>Obviously there is <u>no guarantee</u> but following these recommendations will help create optimal conditions for you to grow a healthy full head of hair.</p>

<p>Michael&#8217;s commandments for healthy hair growth.</p>
<p><strong>1. Be aware of how you &#8220;talk&#8221; to yourself.</strong></p>
<p>If your thoughts are always &#8220;my hair is falling out faster and faster&#8221; or &#8220;I&#8217;m going to be bald before I&#8217;m thirty,&#8221; then guess what? You are going to get what you ask for.</p>
<p align="center"><strong>&#8220;I have healthy hair that grows quickly&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>Remember that on the quantum level your thoughts are very powerful tools, in fact they are the second step in the process that creates everything in your world that you are consciously aware of.</p>
<p>Simply put, once you understand how thoughts affect your physiology,  you&#8217;d know that&#8230;</p>
<p>It will be very difficult to have a healthy head of hair when you are constantly telling yourself how much your hair is falling out.</p>
<p>This may be difficult to do in the beginning when you constantly see hairs in the bathroom sink but it may be the most important thing you can do if you truly desire to reverse your hair loss.</p>
<p>In the beginning these new thoughts may not have belief attached to them but that is alright.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s common knowledge that if you keep telling yourself something long enough you&#8217;ll start to believe it and&#8230;</p>
<p>What you continually put your attention to grows, so&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>2) Visualize your hair growing.</strong></p>
<p>The new thought.. &#8220;I have healthy hair that grows quickly&#8221; will slowly attract like energy to manifest itself and pretty soon you&#8217;ll start seeing evidence that will transform that thought into a belief.</p>
<p>The single most important thing you can do to reverse your hair loss is to CHANGE THE WAY YOU TALK TO YOURSELF ABOUT IT and then go from there.</p>

<p>Telling yourself  &#8220;I have healthy hair that grows quickly&#8221; with conviction will cause you to give attention to that thought in turn attracting similar thoughts (energy) that will assist in bringing about the manifestation of your desire, to have healthy hair that grows quickly.</p>
<p>Giving attention to this thought will compel you to follow through with the rest of these recommendations.</p>
<p>It is very important you grasp this first concept and practice it faithfully.</p>
<p>The first two commandments are the most important of all. They lay the foundation for which the other commandments are built and is what separates my hair loss reversal program from all the others on the internet.</p>
<p><strong>3. Unclog your hair follicles.</strong></p>
<p>Stop using commercial store-bought junk shampoos and start using a quality scalp cleansing type of shampoo.</p>
<p>That point is so important I&#8217;m going to say it again.</p>

<p>As the hair shaft grows and &#8220;pushes&#8221; it way up out of the follicle which is basically one of thousands and thousands of little holes in your head, wouldn&#8217;t it be reasonable to assume you would want to keep all of those little holes unclogged so the hair shaft has an easy path to follow?</p>
<p>Hair growth is a complex cycle that has many contributing factors.</p>
<p>Simply put, the hair shaft is born, grows, dies, falls out and repeats the cycle over and over again. When you are young this is generally a vigorous cycle and the hair shaft has plenty of power to push its way through the follicle.</p>
<p>As we age however this process loses efficiency with one of the primary reasons being when the hair shaft falls out, before the new hair has a chance to grow and sprout out of the follicle, the follicle gets clogged or partially clogged making it very difficult for that new hair to grow.</p>
<p>Hair loss is normal and part of the hair cycle but when new hairs have a hard time replacing hairs that have fallen out, your hair will thin out.</p>
<p>It is very important to keep all those little holes in your head cleaned out and healthy which will in turn provide a optimum environment for vigorous hair growth.</p>
<p>So what is clogging your hair follicles?</p>
<p>The main culprits are&#8230;</p>
<p>1) Sebum</p>
<p>2) Your own hair products</p>
<p>Sebum is natural oil that is produced by the sebaceous gland and is meant to lubricate the hair shaft on it&#8217;s journey out of the hair follicle.</p>
<p>This is a good thing.</p>
<p>The problem is that for hereditary reasons and such some of us have an overactive production of sebum that can actually CLOG the hair follicles.</p>
<p><img src="http://kahunka.com/pics/Hair_Follicle.jpg" align="left" height="184" width="200" />I have a good friend who has experienced thinning hair recently.</p>
<p>One day I noticed him rubbing something on his hair. Come to find out it was a wax stick used for sculpting &#8220;spikey&#8221; hairstyles.</p>
<p>Now if the wax is strong enough to keep bunches of hair in place, what effect do you think it would have if it gets on the scalp and clogs the hair follicles?</p>
<p>Look at this picture.  Can you see how styling products might plug the top of the hair follicle?</p>
<p>If these products are applied  frequently, imagine the uphill battle that tiny little hair has to &#8220;dig&#8221; its way out.</p>
<p>This applies to mousse, gel, hair sprays, commercial shampoos, commercial conditioners and so on.</p>
<p>People are constantly putting products on their scalp that can potentially clog the follicles.</p>
<p>If you are applying styling products to your hair (and unavoidably your scalp) then what you need to do is <strong>STOP</strong>&#8230;that is, if you want to reverse your hair loss bad enough and provide an optimal growth environment for your hair.</p>
<p>So how do you clean your scalp?</p>
<p>There are a wide variety of scalp cleansing shampoos on the market today to choose from.</p>
<p>I believe that a scalp cleansing shampoo was the major contributing factor to my experience in reversing hair loss.</p>
<p>The shampoo I&#8217;ve been using for years and continue to faithfully order every few months is called Super Hair Energizer.</p>
<p>Lately I&#8217;ve been using an organic tea tree oil shampoo that cleanses the scalp very well.</p>
<p>Nizoral is a dandruff shampoo that is gaining popularity very quickly in the reverse-hair-loss community because it not only cleans the sebum and other gunk from your scalp but it also appears to control DHT (see below) as an added side effect.</p>
<p>To summarize, STOP clogging your follicles with gunk and start using a quality scalp cleansing shampoo that will create an optimal environment for hair growth.</p>
<p><img src="http://kahunka.com/pics/hippie_mike.jpg" align="right" border="2" height="150" width="123" />This is a much more recent picture of me in one of my longer hair phases.</p>
<p>The point is I stopped my hair loss and while I can&#8217;t promise my commandments will work for you, I do believe this program is your best bet for re-growing your hair without surgery or drugs.</p>
<p><strong>4. Stimulate your follicles.</strong></p>
<p>Stimulating the hair follicles through scalp exercise and massage will increase blood flow to the follicles and supply needed nutrients necessary for vigorous hair growth.</p>
<p>It only makes sense that if you feed your hair roots a rich supply of nutrients they will have a better chance for optimal growth.</p>
<p><strong>Scalp Message</strong> - I message my scalp every morning in the shower when I am washing my hair. The best way I&#8217;ve found to properly stimulate your follicles with massage is to move the scalp back and forth over the skull, not by rubbing your fingers across scalp.</p>
<p>Take both hands and place your fingers on both sides of your scalp just above your ears.</p>
<p>Without sliding your fingers up the scalp, push your scalp UP so that it bunches up on the top of your head. Now pull it back down again.</p>
<p>Continue doing this while changing the position of your fingers at various locations around your head.</p>
<p>The thing to remember is that you are moving the scalp across the scull &#8220;bunching&#8221; it up at different areas all over your head.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be gentle. Your scalp will love the extra attention (thought) you are giving it. Use fast brisk motions while at the same time visualize nutrients being feed to your hair roots. THINK about how much this is going to help your hair growth.</p>
<p>Do this EVERY TIME you shampoo your hair at least for a few minutes and of course the longer the better depending upon your schedule.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t just RUB shampoo on your hair and rinse it off again. Make it a point to massage your scalp.<br />
Do this and you will notice a immediate difference. Your hair will have more life and spring to it with results becoming more noticeable over time.</p>
<p>You can do this massage anywhere at anytime you feel like it not just in the shower.</p>
<p><strong>Scalp Exercise </strong>- This is not a procedure I used to stop my hair loss because it basically does the same thing as the massage described above. Many people report great results from doing scalp exercises so I&#8217;ve decided to add it here.</p>
<p>When you exercise your scalp, you are moving the scalp over the top of your skull like the massage with the difference being that you are using the occipitalis muscles at the back of your head to accomplish this instead of your fingers.</p>
<p>To summarize, you should increase the blood flow to your scalp every single day for at LEAST several minutes while you VISUALIZE fresh life-promoting nutrients flowing to your hair roots, nourishing them for optimal growth!!</p>
<p>And remember, do not dismiss this mind-body connection as hocus pocus! There is a growing mountain of evidence that suggests a direct link between the two.</p>
<p><strong>5. Feed Your Follicles</strong></p>
<p>Your hair follicles are in constant need of quality nutrients in order to produce hair. It is essential to healthy hair growth that you adopt a healthy hair promoting diet.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve investigated the articles on Kahunka you&#8217;ll already know that everything is energy.</p>
<p>Countless &#8220;types&#8221; of energies make up our world and everything in it.</p>
<p>While an apple is an energy source we can say promotes life energy for humans, a riverbed rock does not. How long would you live eating rocks off the riverbed?</p>
<p>At the very core both objects are flashing packets of energy surrounded by huge spaces (zero point field) but obviously the energy formation that &#8220;makes up&#8221; the apple is very different than that which makes up the river rock.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m going to present a different way for you to look at what you eat and how it affects not only your hair, but your entire body. Then you&#8217;ll be given a list of the best whole foods you can eat to promote healthy hair growth.</p>
<p>Think about hair growth on a quantum level.</p>
<p>Since energy seeks out and attracts like energy and our hair is made up of energy that is alive and expands (grows), it only makes sense that we want to provide this energy with like energy so can flourish and &#8220;grow.&#8221;</p>
<p>The food we eat is energy so it only makes sense that for optimal hair growth we should eat food that contains energy that will &#8220;seek out&#8221; and find our hair energy thus combining with it causing it to grow stronger.</p>
<p>At quantum levels hair  is vibrating energy behaving in a way that causes it to become matter and eventually the hair we see growing out the top of our heads.</p>
<p>In the case of hair, the matter that this energy &#8220;forms into&#8221; is mostly protein with some fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.</p>
<p>So if you want your hair to grow, you need to supply it with &#8220;like&#8221; energy.</p>
<p>The energy that eventually forms into your hair and sprouts from the top of your head will find this energy you are providing it and combine with it causing optimal conditions for expansion (growth).</p>

<p>Drink lots of WATER, I drink eight 16 ounce glasses of water a day!</p>
<p>Water is one of the most important items you can consume. Not only does water flush out impurities from your system but also is responsible for transporting nutrients to every cell in your body.</p>
<p>Before anything else, you should be drinking eight glasses of water each day. Some people think this is too much because we get water in the foods we eat but I disagree.</p>
<p>The best way for you to get the nutrients your follicles need is to eat the natural foods that contain them.</p>
<p>However we all know sometimes that is not easy to do.</p>
<p>There is a product that I&#8217;ve been taking now for several years that I believe has done much for my health and my hair.</p>

<p>Supplements I have taken for healthy hair are:</p>
<p>MSM (Methyl-sulfonyl-methane)<br />
Saw Palmetto<br />
Sockeye salmon oil capsules<br />
Modifilan</p>
<p>Do a Google search to find out why these particular substances may have a benefit for your hair growth.</p>
<p>In summary your follicles are like tiny &#8220;hair factories&#8221; that are in constant need of quality nutrients to produce a quality product we see as healthy hair.</p>
<p>Raw and whole foods are nutritious sources of vibrant energy that fuel your follicles and help them produce quality thick hair.</p>
<p>On the other hand processed foods that are high in animal fats, sugar, salt, hydrogenated oils and so on are &#8220;dead&#8221; food and not only will not supply needed nutrients to your hair but will in fact rob your system of the nutrition it needs to grow hair.</p>
<p>Think about this next time you are chowing down on a large French fry and drinking a sugary cola drink.</p>
<p>If you want to save your hair and reverse your hair loss, you cannot keep eating garbage food, no matter how good it tastes.</p>
<p>Remember the old saying&#8230;</p>
<p>Garbage in, garbage out.</p>
<p>If you are tired of your hair looking like garbage, quit eating garbage.</p>
<p><strong>6. Get plenty of sleep.</strong></p>
<p>Your body regenerates during the deepest stages of sleep and is the time youth promoting hormones like DHEA and HGH are released.</p>
<p>Meditation during the day can help make up for lost sleep at night.</p>
<p><strong>7. Control Dihydrotestosterone<br />
</strong></p>
<p>There is a type of androgen (hormone) produced in your body that is widely believed to be a chief factor in hair loss. Dihydrotestosterone or &#8220;DHT&#8221; is thought to attach to the follicles causing them to shrink and reduce the duration of the hairs growth phase resulting progressively smaller, finer hairs until eventually growth stops completely.</p>
<p>What causes this to happen?</p>
<p>It is believed that DHT is one of the androgens responsible for the stimulation of adrenaline that occurs when we are in heightened state of excitement and/or are STRESSED out.</p>
<p>Maybe this is why stress can contribute to hair loss.</p>
<p>There are many products now on the market that address the DHT issue but I am going to provide a few low cost options that may help in this area.</p>
<p>* STOP STRESSING OUT all the time.</p>
<p>* The dandruff shampoo NIZORAL appears to have a weak side effect of keeping DHT from attaching to the hair follicle. The shampoo comes in a non-prescription 1% formula available over the counter and a stronger 2% formula available without a prescription through a variety of online pharmacies. If you have hair loss, it might be worth your while to get a bottle of this cheap shampoo and use it a few times a week.</p>
<p>*Saw Palmetto is believed to help prevent DHT from binding to the follicle. This common herb can be found at any health food store and is the main ingredient in a few of the &#8220;hair loss&#8221; supplements being marketed.</p>
<p>If you have hair loss, consider incorporating one or all of these low cost DHT blockers into your daily routine.</p>
<p>And there you have it!!</p>
<p>For most people, following these guidelines will result in healthier, fuller hair in just a few months time.</p>
<p>Some other less common reasons for hair loss</p>
<ul>
<li>Thyroid disorders</li>
<li>Some prescription medications</li>
<li>Chemotherapy and radiation therapy</li>
<li>Diabetes</li>
<li>Hormonal  changes</li>
</ul>

<p>There is so much evidence available today confirming the mind-body connection that it would be foolish to completely discount this phenomenon.</p>
<p>Your thoughts have a powerful effect on the overall health of your body and your hair.</p>
<p>Stop telling yourself your hair is falling out or what poor condition your hair may be in.</p>
<p>Start messaging your scalp every day and in a week start to look for even the slightest sign your hair loss is reversing.</p>
<p>If you look hard enough, you&#8217;ll find it. Build on this. Tell yourself how your hair loss is starting to reverse and make a commitment to follow the steps in this program.</p>
<p>Remember that your body is constantly renewing and as such needs a constant supply of quality nutrients to use as building blocks.</p>
<p>In summary:</p>

I&#8217;ve done a lot of research into the arguments for and against eating meat and have concluded that humans, with their long herbivore-like digestive tract, are better off not eating meat.</p>
<p>This article however isn&#8217;t about whether our teeth and digestive tracts are built to process meat but rather the toxic substances you absorb into your being on both a physical and spiritual level when you eat the meat that once housed a tortured soul.</p>
<p>All things have consciousness and while this concept may seem alien to many humans, it exists nonetheless.</p>
<p>Because a typical hamburger may contain pieces of dozens or hundreds of different animals, I&#8217;ll use a steak as an example.</p>
<p>Next time you sit down to your steak dinner, think for a moment about what the life of the animal whose flesh you are about to consume may have been like and about how you will be absorbing it&#8217;s karma with each bite you take.</p>
<p>The life of a typical cow is not the same as it was even fifty years ago and while I use beef as an example, the story below could apply to any animal raised for food.</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s factory animals experience unimaginable suffering from the day they are born often being immediately separated from their mother at birth to begin a life of pain and misery which ensues until the day they are slaughtered for their meat.</p>
<p>During their life they are force fed mashed-up remains of other farm animals and foods they were never naturally intended to eat. Because of this disease would be rampant if it were not for the antibiotics that are pumped into their bodies to artificially keep them healthy.</p>
<p>Since meat is sold by the pound growth hormones are injected into these animals to assure the maximum corporate return.</p>
<p>The biggest problem I see with meat is how the animals are treated, what they are fed and what they are medicated with during their lifetime.</p>
<p>When you eat meat not only do you absorb adrenaline, growth hormones, antibiotics and other toxins into your body on a physical level but you also absorb the energy of an animal that may have lived a hellish life and experienced a potentially gruesome horrifying death into your own energy field.</p>
<p>Think about that.</p>
<p>Surveys suggest most of us consider ourselves to be &#8220;spiritual,&#8221; so I wonder how many people actually think about the spiritual aspect of being a meat eater.</p>
<p>What kind of chemical reaction would occur in your body if someone put a choke chain around your neck to keep you in line, shoved you onto a conveyor belt , and made you watch in horror as all of those in line in front of you were beheaded one by one? Your body would be pumped full of adrenaline from all the fear! Unused adrenaline is extremely toxic. If you think for a minute that most of the meat you consume is not packed with this toxic substance, you are sadly mistaken! – Paul Bragg N.D., Ph.D.</p>

<p>Earlier this week someone in our discussion forum wrote, &#8220;I haven&#8217;t &#8220;LOST&#8221; any fat&#8230; I know EXACTLY where it went! I got a chuckle out of that because I &#8220;got&#8221; the joke, but truth is, most people really don&#8217;t know how fat cells work, how the fat burning process takes place or where the fat goes when it&#8217;s burned. It&#8217;s actually quite a complex biochemical process, but I&#8217;ll explain it as simply as possible, so by the end of this article, you&#8217;ll be a &#8220;fat burning&#8221; expert!</p>
<p>When you &#8220;lose&#8221; body fat, the fat cell (also called an adipocyte) does not go anywhere or &#8220;move into the muscle cell to be burned. The fat cell itself, (unfortunately) stays right where it was - under the skin in your thighs, stomach, hips, arms, etc., and on top of the muscles - which is why you can&#8217;t see muscle &#8220;definition&#8221; when your body fat is high.</p>
<p>Fat is stored inside the fat cell in the form of triaglycerol. The fat is not burned right there in the fat cell, it must be liberated from the fat cell through somewhat complex hormonal/enzymatic pathways. When stimulated to do so, the fat cell simply releases its contents (triaglycerol) into the bloodstream as free fatty acids (FFA&#8217;s), and they are transported through the blood to the tissues where the energy is needed.</p>
<p>A typical young male adult stores about 60,000 to 100,000 calories of energy in body fat cells. What triggers the release of all these stored fatty acids from the fat cell? Simple: When your body needs energy because you&#8217;re consuming fewer calories than you are burning (an energy deficit), then your body releases hormones and enzymes that signal your fat cells to release your fat reserves instead of keeping them in storage.</p>
<p>For stored fat to be liberated from the fat cell, hydrolysis (lipolysis or fat breakdown), splits the molecule of triaglycerol into glycerol and three fatty acids. An important enzyme called hormone sensitive lipase (HSL) is the catalyst for this reaction. The stored fat (energy) gets released into the bloodstream as FFA&#8217;s and they are shuttled off to the muscles where the energy is needed. As blood flow increases to the active muscles, more FFA&#8217;s are delivered to the muscles that need them.</p>
<p>An important enzyme called lipoprotein lipase (LPL), then helps the FFA&#8217;s get inside the mitochondria of the muscle cell, where the FFA&#8217;s can be burned for energy. If you&#8217;ve ever taken a biology class, then you&#8217;ve probably heard of the mitochondria. This is the &#8220;cellular powerhouse&#8221; where energy production takes place and this is where the FFA&#8217;s go to be burned for energy.</p>
<p>When the FFA&#8217;s are released from the fat cell, the fat cell shrinks and that&#8217;s why you look leaner when you lose body fat - because the fat cell is now smaller. A small or &#8220;empty&#8221; fat cell is what you&#8217;re after if you want the lean, defined look.</p>
<p>It was once believed that the number of fat cells could not increase after adulthood, only the size of the fat cells could increase (or decrease). We now know that fat cells can indeed increase both in size (hypertrophy) and in number (hyperplasia) and that they are more likely to increase in number at certain times and under certain circumstances, such as 1) during late childhood and early puberty, 2) During pregnancy, and 3) During adulthood when extreme amounts of weight are gained.</p>
<p>Some people are genetically predisposed to have more fat cells than others and women have more fat cells than men. An infant usually has about 5 - 6 billion fat cells. This number increases during early childhood and puberty, and a healthy adult with normal body composition has about 25 to 30 billion fat cells. A typical overweight adult has around 75 billion fat cells. But in the case of severe obesity, this number can be as high as 250 to 300 billion!<br />
The average size (weight) of an adult fat cell is about 0.6 micrograms, but they can vary in size from 0.2 micograms to 0.9 micrograms. An overweight person&#8217;s fat cells can be up to three times larger than a person with ideal body composition.</p>
<p>Remember, body fat is basically just a reserve source of energy and fat cells are the like the storage tanks. Unlike a gas tank in your car which is fixed in size, however, fat cells can expand or shrink in size depending on how &#8220;filled&#8221; they are.</p>
<p>Picture a balloon that is not inflated: It&#8217;s tiny when not filled with air - maybe the size of your thumb. When you blow it up with air, it can expand 10 or 12 times it&#8217;s normal size, because it simply fills up. That&#8217;s what happens to fat cells: They start as nearly empty fat storage &#8220;tanks&#8221; (when you are lean), and when energy intake exceeds your needs, your fat cells &#8220;fill up&#8221; and &#8220;stretch out&#8221; like balloons filling up with jelly (not a pretty picture, is it?)</p>
<p>So you don&#8217;t actually &#8220;lose&#8221; fat cells, you &#8220;shrink&#8221; or &#8220;empty out&#8221; fat cells.</p>
<p>Take-home lessons:</p>
<p>1. Calories count! The signal that triggers your body to release adipose from fat cells is an energy deficit&#8230; you have to burn more than you eat.</p>
<p>2. Cut calories conservatively. Starving yourself may cause quick weight loss at first, but never works long term because it actually decreases the activity of fat burning enzymes that release fat from the cells. to avoid this &#8220;starvation mode&#8221; use exercise to BURN THE FAT, not very low calorie crash diets.</p>
<p>3. Get control of your weight now. If you are gaining weight, and especially if your weight is climbing upwards out of control, make a decision to STOP RIGHT NOW. Your fat cells might be multiplying, making it more difficult to burn fat in the future. NOW is the time!</p>
<p>4. If you&#8217;ve already lost weight, you must be forever diligent. Your fat cells are not gone, they have merely &#8220;shrunk&#8221; or &#8220;emptied out.&#8221; Fitness is not a 12 week program, its a lifestyle. To stay lean you have to eat clean and stay active</p>
<p>5. Genetics are only a minor factor. You may not have control over how many fat cells you were born with, but you do control the major factors that determine how much fat you store: lifestyle, exercise, nutrition, mental attitude.</p>
<p>Genetics are not an excuse. The past is not an excuse. Your present condition is not an excuse. You can either make excuses or get results, but you can&#8217;t do both.</p>
<p>So keep educating yourself about the science, read these newsletters, take action every day and go out there and make it happen!</p>

<p>If you&#8217;ve been feeling stuck in life lately, things aren&#8217;t going your way or maybe you&#8217;ve made some bad decisions you are now regretting then maybe this article can help.</p>

<p>Some people tend to ride the crest of these waves while others seem to find themselves at the bottom more often.</p>
<p>Everyone rides the ups and downs of life including yours truly.</p>
<p>It is impossible not to because it is the very nature of the universe. You cannot know the good without having experienced the bad.</p>
<p>Everyone has good and bad times in their life.</p>
<p>If you are at a place in your life you no longer wish to be, consider the experience a life lesson and move on.</p>

<p>I can&#8217;t begin to explain how important this step is. Gratitude is one of the magic tools you can use to ride the crest of life&#8217;s waves or just get back on your surf board again in case you fall off.</p>

<p>Think about something that you have right now that if you didn&#8217;t, you&#8217;d wish you did.</p>
<p>Every day spend five minutes writing and/or reading this list and give thanks to Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, God, the Universe or whatever you consider to be your higher power.</p>
<p>Now it&#8217;s time to move on with your life so you have to decide exactly the place you&#8217;d like to go.</p>

<p>So how do I find out what it is I want to do or be?</p>
<p>Sit in a quiet place and relax. Ask yourself if there were no social pressure of any kind from family, friends, employers and so on and you could do, be or have anything you desired, what would it be?</p>
<p>The gut feeling and the little voices you may have been suppressing will start to speak up, listen because this is the way your higher self communicates with you.</p>

<p>Determine what you want and make the commitment to go for it.</p>
<p>Do not compare your point in life to that of other people. The journey through our human experience is like a horizontal circular track, a horse track if you will. No one is any further along or behind, we are all just at different points along the track.</p>
<p>Reread that last paragraph.</p>
<p>Do not concern yourself with &#8220;starting over.&#8221;</p>

<p> Don&#8217;t worry about &#8220;generating positive energy&#8221; because this will come automatically.</p>
<p>Focus on what you love and your desires.</p>
<p>Thoughts are things and do become the events, circumstances and situations of our lives but could you imagine if everything we thought about materialized instantly?</p>
<p>This is why there is a &#8220;time buffer&#8221; built into the Universal process of creation.<br />
Once you know what you want, visualize yourself as already having that condition.</p>
<p>Close your eyes for at least ten minutes a day and see yourself as having what it is you desire. See it, touch it, hear it and so on.</p>
<p><u>Every time you do this the desire will move a little closer to you.</u></p>
<p>But visualizing by itself is not enough. The equation looks like this&#8230;</p>

Remember however when you are doing what you love and following your dreams, it won&#8217;t seem like effort at all.</p>
<p>Following these simple ideas has the power to change your life around if that&#8217;s what you truly want to do.</p>
<p>Now a few more thoughts on happiness.</p>
